Node Counting

A "node" is any server with an active PatchCTL agent:

  • Each unique machine ID = 1 node
  • Offline servers still count (until deleted)
  • Deleted servers don't count

Managing Your Subscription

View Current Plan

Go to SettingsBilling:

  • Current plan name
  • Node usage (X of Y)
  • Next billing date
  • Payment method

Upgrade Plan

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Upgrade
  3. Select new plan
  4. Enter payment details
  5. Confirm upgrade

Upgrades take effect immediately. You're charged prorated for the remainder of the billing period.

Downgrade Plan

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower tier
  4. Confirm downgrade

Downgrades take effect at the next billing period. Ensure your node count fits the new plan.

Cancel Subscription

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

You retain access until the end of the billing period.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Processed securely via Stripe

Update Payment Method

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Manage Payment
  3. Update card details
  4. Save changes

Invoices

View Invoices

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Invoices
  3. View or download past invoices

Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Plan and node count
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method used
